Kalas at Röda Sten X-mas market

Hello friends! I'm happy to tell you that yours truly will take part in the Röda Sten X-mas market this year too! I had so much fun last time and it was nice to be one of several talented designers.

This year I have some new products (of course the classics are still there too, don't worry) such as the two necklaces I blogged about in the two previous posts. I've also made, specially for the season, cat angel ornaments.

Pop on over to Röda Sten X-mas market if you're in Gothenburg between December 5th - 7th. Opening hours are:

NEW: Kalas necklace with wooden beads

How do you like this new necklace with the Kalas bead combined with two wooden beads on a metal chain? This one and other color combinations will be sold at upcoming X-mas markets here in Gothenburg (will announce the dates and so on soon).

I'm back!

Hello hej friends!

I just popped in to let you know that I'm back from my summer break. The heat wave is over and todays rain keeps me indoors, so, I decided I should learn the basics of macrame. Thanks to the internet (Pinterest) I now know how to make bracelets. I'm not yet a macrame pro or anything but here's the result. These three are my first ever macrame creations and I'm hoping to learn to make more elaborate ones soon. I'm not making any promises or anything, pressure is not my ally, but hopefully they might end up in the shop, who knows.

Oh, and for you Gothenburg people out there, during my summer break I made a new batch of Kalas deliciousness to be sold at Kvart Interiör at Mariaplan!

Kalas on Iceland

The winner of the NAME IT // WIN IT GIVEAWAY was Brynja who lives in Iceland, she sent me this photo to let me know that the necklace had arrived safely. I've always wanted to go to Iceland so I'm quite happy that at least a small part of me got to go there. I'm also very happy that Brynja likes her new necklace and that the color scheme looks great on her. Quite a match!

Yesterday I got this email from a customer (in Swedish) telling me about the nice compliments she gets every time she wears her Kalas necklace. Hearing things like this of course makes me smile! Really, I'm the one that should say THANK YOU! <3

Announcement: Kalas at a la London!

Yours truly will be attending the a la London design market! I'm one of 90 designers chosen for this years market and I'm truly humbled and very happy for it. I hope to see some of you there. At the market you'll find my whole Kalas line and some prints.

The market is being held at Göteborgs Konserthus, Götaplatsen, Göteborg on may 31st.

From todays photoshoot

First of all I have to give a huge thanks to my friends who helped out with some modeling on todays shoot! Ni är guld!
It has been a fun, hectic and really productive day so right now I'm just about ready for the sandman to come and whisk me off to dream land, but before i can do that I just have to show you some of the fruits of todays labour. (Will try and get it up on the website in a few days)

Spring time news

Hello friends! The spring is finally here, and that's always a reason to celebrate, therefore I've been working hard on coming up with this new seasons color schemes and developing new products and improvements.
Here's a sneak peak of the Kalas necklace with adjustable lenght and the Kalas one bead/long string Kola necklace from today's photoshoot with my friend Naomi.

Second graders have great taste

Today I sold this Onyx ring to a very happy customer. She works at a school, and at lunch today she got some very nice comments on her new jewellery from two amazing second graders with great taste. 

It warms my heart to hear things like this :)

Busy days

Hello friends!
I'm sorry I haven't blogged in a while, school, the flu and other boring every day stuff kinda got in the way. But now I'm back to tell and show you some news.

First up is the Kalas necklace with one bead instead of four or three, available at Kvart interiör here in Gothenburg. Either with long thread or shorter. The one in the picture is named Kola and will soon also be available in the shop.

Hello 2014!

Welcome to a new year at Kalas! To great the new year I have re-stocked some of the items that were sold out in the shop. Kalas now also has its own Facebook page, so please head on over to there and give us your likes (feel free to share it with your friends). I'm nothing without you guys. Thank you!
